Vocal prodigy Paul Anka will excite an eager H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center audience on Thursday, Dec. 10 with songs spanning his long and illustrious career.

Since age 13, Anka has delighted audiences with his unique brand of compositions and performing and has been called the “quintessential performer-entertainer” by “The Las Vegas Sun.”

1957 was the watershed year for the remarkable singer/composer, with Anka scoring a recording contract with ABC-Paramount Records, which led to hit songs such as “Diana” and put him on the fast-track to stardom.

The star was seen for many years performing with the “Cavalcade of Stars,” a tour that offered audiences a show full of the top performers of the day. He also became the youngest performer to share his talents at the Copa Cabana, a famous concert venue.

Anka has written for incredible performers such as Buddy Holly and Connie Francis and even worked as a junior associate to Frank Sinatra and The Rat Pack.

Anka will share hits such as “Lonely Boy,” “It’s Time to Cry” and many more that have made him a sought-after composer and artist.

Tickets for the event range from $59 to $79 and can be purchased online or at the Luhrs Center box office.
