This June, join the H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center as they welcome Hotel California through “A Salute to the Eagles”.
For more than two decades, the Hotel California band has performed replicas of the Eagles’ classic songs. They were founded with the intent to fill the void the GRAMMY award winning Eagles left behind in 1982.
Hotel California has reached international recognition normally reserved for gold and platinum recording artists. Past performances were located throughout United States as well as in India, Dubai, Bermuda and Japan. They have performed up to 200 shows a year.
Steve Birnstihl from the CTA Tributes was in awe of Hotel California’s success. “For any band to continually exceed such high expectations this deep into their career, and remain at the top of their field for as long as Hotel California have, is a truly remarkable accomplishment. That’s why when top talent buyers need the proven, absolute highest quality Eagles show in the world, they book the original Hotel California year after year,” Birntihl said.
The band currently consist of five musical professionals: Wade Hogue, Dicky-Lee Dickinson, Phil Rowland, Scott Fronsoe and Steve Probst. The members blend to create a close reproduction of the Eagle’s original sound.
According to hotelcal.com the band recreates “a classic sound which undeniably transcends the boundaries of Rock, R&B, and Country while delivering a modern, action packed performance that brings this timeless music into the new millennium.”
Hotel California performances include songs like “Heartache Tonight”, “Take it Easy” and of course “Hotel California”. Their show also includes solo pieces from Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh and Don Henley.
Hotel California will be performing on Saturday, June 4 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $20 and can be bought at the Luhrs Center Box Office by calling 717-477-7469 (SHOW) or visiting their website at Luhrscenter.com.
