Auditions for a Shippensburg University production of Legally Blonde: The Musical will be held this week.

The independent project is directed by Tyler Rock. The musical will touch on topics such as toxic masculinity, the male gaze and sexual harrassment in the workplace, according to the Facebook event description.

Auditions will occur in Memorial Auditorium Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 9 p.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 11 p.m.

Those interested should prepare a one-minute monologue and 32 measures of any song. They do not need to be memorized.

The show will be performed March 19-21 next spring.
