Despite being swept by the West Chester University Golden Rams, Shippensburg University’s Courtney Coy had herself a weekend.
The local Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, product slashed a 7-for-12 line at the plate, including a trio of home runs and seven RBIs across the four-game home-and-home series. The standout junior also crossed home plate on six occasions.
With the Raiders wrapping up their season, Coy concludes her truncated 2021 campaign with a .322 batting average, 10 round-trippers, 32 RBIs and a 15-game hitting streak. The 10 long balls mark as a career-high.
