Shippensburg University freshman Drew Dailey was never one to shy away from the accolades on the cross-country course or indoor track. And he sure did not stop on the outdoor circuit either.
In the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships Thursday-Saturday, Dailey continued his historic pace in his young, yet promising collegiate career. Dailey captured gold in the 800 and 1,500-meters with times of 1:53.45 and 3:57.95. He also contributed as the team’s third leg in the 4x400 relay, which also took home a gold medal.
With his 800 and 1,500-meter performances, Dailey became the first Raider in school history to win both events in the same season. He was also named the 2021 PSAC Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships Most Valuable Athlete.
