Shippensburg University’s Dining Services is offering students a variety of limited time offers and special meal opportunities across campus this semester. One of the current limited time offers is Loaded Philly Tots served at Century Cafe, which will be available until Feb. 4.
The Starbucks, in the Ezra Lehman Memorial Library, will have Meatless Mondays. Students can get a discounted breakfast sandwich at Starbucks on Jan. 31. Walking tacos will be back on Taco Tuesdays at Limon Chile in the Ceddia Union Building. For Wellness Wednesday, students can follow @ShipDiningServices on Instagram to find out where each week’s healthy snack will be given out.
Prime Station Takeover is Dining Services’ new spin on Prime Thursdays. Each week, a station in Reisner Dining Hall will be replaced with a special, one-night-only menu. Jan. 20 was the inaugural takeover of Smash Burgers and a topping bar. The next takeover will be made-to-order mac and cheese with a topping bar from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Jan. 27.
Dining Services held a Welcome Back Dinner in the Tuscarora Room of Reisner at 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 24. Dining Services served students a gourmet buffet along with vegan options and the True Balance allergen station. They encouraged students to bring a friend that did not currently have a meal plan; if they signed up for a plan by Jan. 28, both students would receive an additional $50 in flex for the semester. All attendees had the chance to win one of twenty prizes, including an electric scooter, AirPods and free coffee at Dunkin’.
