WELCOME BACK
We hope you had a wonderful spring break and are looking forward to the next half of the spring semester. If you have not completed your 2023-24 FAFSA and need assistance, our office is holding several FAFSA workshops on campus this spring. Pennsylvania residents must complete the FAFSA no later than May 1 for PA State Grant consideration.
FAFSA workshops are scheduled in the Lehman Library Room 106 on the following dates:
Monday, March 20, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.;
Saturday, March 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.;
Tuesday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to noon;
Saturday, April 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.;
and Wednesday, April 5, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
If you do not need assistance to file your 2023-24 FAFSA, log in online at www.studentaid.gov with your FSA ID and password. We highly recommend you use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) to link you and/or your parent’s 2021 federal tax return data directly from the IRS to your FAFSA. When you have entered all the information, be sure to apply all required electronic signatures and submit your application.
To get a sneak peek at your eligibility for Federal Grants and Loans, be sure to check the confirmation email (sent to the email account you provided on your FAFSA) to view your FAFSA results. For Pennsylvania residents, PHEAA will notify you by email with your State Grant award eligibility.
Want to see if you are eligible for more money? Apply for Scholarships. We encourage you to apply for our Shippensburg University Foundation scholarships and PASSHE Foundation Scholarships. Scholarship application links can be found at https://www.ship.edu/paying/scholarships-loans/scholarships/.
