Juice WRLD’s label released his final album on Nov. 29, titled “The Party Never Ends.”
The goal of the album was to make listeners feel like they were at his concerts. Since his passing, the idea of being at his concert through a music platform was amazing. The songs he sang make you feel like you are right in front of him.
The album consists of 18 songs that he made before his passing. The first song, “The Party Never Ends” has a catchy and different sound that Juice WRLD fans will know of. He uses this sound very well with his flow and the genre of music he produces. The last song, “Oxycodone,” was a fitting song to end his album with. Through his vocals and technical flow, this song is one of my favorites in the album.
What this album means to fans is how Juice WRLD talks about his struggles with anxiety and depression. He relates to the younger audience, and he made a difference in their lives. Something about his word choice hit me very hard.
During my first listen to the album, I found catchy songs that I liked and added them to my playlist. My second listen to the album made me emotional. Listening to the lyrics and his struggles really hit me hard, especially because Juice WRLD was supposed to go the rehab the week after his passing..
One song titled “Condone It” transitioned from talking about his struggles to the artists that all passed away. At the end of the song, he tributed Micheal Jackson, Nipsey Hussle, Lil Peep, XXXTentacion and others. This song transitioned into one of the most emotional songs that I have ever listened to titled “Goodbye,” featuring The Kid LAROI.
The song was Laroi singing and talking about the people he lost, including Juice WRLD. Many people do not know this, but Laroi’s idol is Juice WRLD, and when he passed away, Laroi felt destroyed. In June 2020, a year after Juice passed, Laroi released a song titled “GO,” featuring Juice WRLD. The music video felt different, with fans of both artists reminiscing about Juice and the legacy he left.
The difference between Juice WRLD’s label and XXXTentacion’s label is that when X died, his label released an album only for money. As for Juice’s label, his label released his album knowing how he would want it. Juice was really close to his manager Lil Bibby, and they worked alongside each other through Juice’s whole music career.
Lil Bibby knew his likes, dislikes, and the things that he loved. He was the one that helped Juice get into rehab, and never had any bad intentions behind the screen. This album meant a lot to Lil Bibby as well. Many producers like Benny Blanco knew how amazing Juice WRLD was and how good he was at creating beautiful songs that people will love.
With this being Juice WRLD’s last album, people should listen and know what kind of artist he was. From the start of his career releasing “Goodbye and Good Riddance,” to him tragically passing away, and with his label releasing “The Party Never Ends,” he truly was a remarkable artist. His style and flow made fans love him.
His relatability to his audience made people love him. His goofiness behind the camera is what made people love him. I am not sure if his label will decide if they will release more, but as for the fans, they think they should just lock the music up. Juice WRLD’s legacy as a hall of fame artist will always be there.
Juice WRLD’s music is available on SoundCloud, Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube. Juice moved many people with his music and even listening to his older songs still moves me. People need to know what a remarkable musician he was and to understand the struggles he had to face during his time. His legacy will live on and will never be forgotten.
