Kenan Thompson brings big city laughs to small town SU

As the lights dimmed in the multi-purpose room (MPR) of the Ceddia Union Building, tension rose. There was a buzz and even some clapping as an unknown figure walked out, a voice coming over the sound system saying Kenan Thompson would hit the stage in a few minutes.

Marvel and Netflix pair up for yet another hit

Some call him the Devil of “Hell’s Kitchen.” Others call him Daredevil. What fans call him is another success for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). “Daredevil” premiered April 10 on Netflix with a 13-episode series.

‘Doubt’ enthralls audiences

“What actually happens in life is beyond interpretation,” said Father Flynn, one of the main characters in Act V’s production of “Doubt: A Parable.” “It tends to be confusing and have no clear conclusion.” In this line, Flynn gets to the heart of the play as a whole.

Magic hits SU by a beauty and a beast

Luhrs Performing Arts Center hosted “Beauty and the Beast” on Thursday, April 9. The classic Disney show brought little girls dressed in their fanciest clothing, as well as Disney princess costumes and even adults dressing to follow the theme of the night. As the audience members walked into the theater, they could see a blue, opaque curtain designed with leaves and vines, accentuating the pink rose that glowed behind the curtain.
