Marion Cotillard “Two Days, One Night” Marion Cotillard looks to win her second best actress Oscar in as many nominations for her role as the troubled mother and wife, Sandra, in the Belgian film “Two Days, One Night.” The film’s plot centers on Sandra’s attempt to win back her job by convincing her coworkers to vote to keep her on, rather than take bonuses for themselves.

“The Flash” reveals loyalties and new enemies

Keep calm and Han shot first. Sorry, I had to get that one out of the way. This week’s episode of “The Flash” saw the seeds of Wells’ endgame being planted, introducing another solid villain with interesting subplots occurring in the background. In this episode, Wells was targeted by his former protégé, Hartley Rathaway, played by Andy Mientus from the show “Smash.” This set the stage for a home invasion where Wells shows a quick display of his flash powers for the first time on the show.

Galavant brings cheer and song to bleak TV hiatus season

Many have wondered what a sequel to “Robin Hood: Men in Tights” would look like. With quick wit and a crude sense of humor that appeals to even the most mature, it is hard to think there is something that could come close. ABC’s newest musical “comedy-extravaganza,” “Galavant,” has become the sequel many fans did not see coming.

‘Hyperbole and a Half: dogs and cake

If you are looking for a novel to give you a few laughs, I would highly recommend picking up a copy of “Hyperbole and a Half: Unfortunate Situations, Flawed Coping Mechanisms, Mayhem, and Other Things That Happened,” by Allie Brosh.

Remembering H. Ric Luhrs, the man behind the name, 10 years later

H. Ric Luhrs’ name is most well known for its association with the Luhrs Performing Arts Center. But as this year rolls around, there is more to the name H. This year marks the 10th anniversary of H. Ric Luhrs’ death. This is a man who helped fund the building explained Luhrs Center director Leslie Folmer Clinton. He helped put up the 50 percent that the university needed to fund the performing arts center that was not being provided by the state.
