Winter commencement celebrated despite weather

Icy roads turned to wet slosh as hundreds of cars pulled into parking lots at Shippensburg University on Saturday to celebrate the fall graduation ceremony. More than 300 hundred seniors walked and picked up their diplomas at the Heiges Field House around 4:30 p.m.

Men’s basketball looks to continue record-breaking start

The 2016-17 Shippensburg University men’s basketball team is off to a hot start, tallying wins at a rapid pace. SU won its first seven games this season, which stands as an SU record for the most consecutive wins to start a season. Past seasons have not always been perfect for the Raiders, as SU is just three years removed from a three-win season.
