The State of our Union is not strong

Every year when I watch the president’s State of the Union Address, I see only half the room stand up at a time, and hear the president only value their party’s platform ideals, or just the pure political tension in the room.

Republicans need change of strategy in 2020

President Donald Trump is supposedly the leader of the Republican Party. However, he continues to attack former prisoner of war, American Hero former-Senator John McCain. McCain, unlike Trump, had it all.

House gun control bill a step in the right direction

The U.S. House passed a gun bill, which is called the “Bipartisan Background Checks Act of 2019,” on Feb 27. What the new bill is and what it would mean for the average American is that now everyone needs a background check in order to start the process of buying a gun.

Colleges should better account for food intolerances

College is typically a time in your life when you do not have to worry about what you are eating. Stereotypically, college students are constantly eating pizza, wings, fries and other junk foods, while simultaneously drinking massive amounts of coffee and alcohol.
