SU student cannot afford to replace broken windshield
At a Shippensburg University home baseball game against Indiana University of Pennsylvania on April 2, a fly ball flew right out of the field and into the windshield of a student’s car that was parked in commuter Lot 6. Marquita Johnson arrived at her car later that day to find her windshield badly shattered by a baseball. After talking to the sports director at the game and campus police, a report was filed and Johnson’s case was dismissed. After sending in a letter from her insurance company stating they would not pay for the damages along with a bill for the repairs, the state notified Johnson she would not be reimbursed.
Kauffman Gallery hosts student exhibition
Dozens of Shippensburg University students, parents, alumni and community members arrived at the Kauffman Gallery in Huber Art Center on March 3 to experience the 2013 SU Student Art Exhibition.
In Motion kicks off spring 2013 semester
On the weekend of Feb. 7 dozens of students, parents and community members arrived at Memorial Auditorium on Shippensburg’s campus to watch In Motion Dance Troupe perform its spring semester recital at 8 p.m.
