Shippensburg University’s baseball team swept Staten Island on March 15 in two seven-inning games 10-1 and 2-0 to win the series, after splitting the first two games on Friday, March 14, at Fairchild Field.
Tennis splits road trip to New York
Shippensburg University´s tennis team started its road trip successfully with a 5-2 win over D’Youville on Friday but ended with a 5-2 loss to Daemen on Saturday. Both games took place indoors in the Miller Tennis Center in Williamsville, New York.

Shippensburg University’s men’s cross-country team travelled to Sacramento, California, this past weekend and placed 20th at the 2024 NCAA Division II Championship after being unranked for the entire season.
Men´s cross country qualifies for NCAAs - Quinan, men finish second, women place 5th at Regionals
Garrett Quinan led the Shippensburg University men’s cross country team with another outstanding performance to a second-place team finish at the 2024 NCAA Atlantic Region Championships at Lock Haven on Nov. 9. The result booked the men’s ticket to the NCAA DII National Championships in Sacramento, California. The women’s cross country team finished in fifth place, just missing the ticket to the National Championships by two places.
Volleyball falls 3-0 at Pitt-Johnstown, clinches pair of home wins
After falling on the road to Pitt-Johnstown on Tuesday, Shippensburg University’s volleyball team rallied at home to defeat Kutztown 4-1 and East Stroudsburg 3-0 in two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchups on Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
Titles defended – Quinan, men´s cross country triumph at PSACs; women celebrate second place
Garrett Quinan defended his individual title in the 8K and led Shippensburg University’s men’s cross-country team to a title defense at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships on Saturday that were hosted in Kutztown. The women’s team delivered a strong runner-up finish in the championship, led by freshman Ella Hartel, with a seventh-place finish in the individual 6K.
Football´s offense blanks in homecoming loss to Kutztown
Only scoring off a safety in the second half, Shippensburg University’s football team lost the homecoming game to Kutztown University on a sunny Saturday afternoon at Seth Grove Stadium 31-2.
Josiah Leonard shows you can do it all
Josiah Leonard, the starting running back for Shippensburg University´s football team, balances being a member of the Army ROTC program and the football team. He is one of a few students that attempt to combine both programs for their college experience. By successfully being a part of both programs, Leonard wants to prove to people that it can be done.
