Men´s cross country qualifies for NCAAs - Quinan, men finish second, women place 5th at Regionals

 Garrett Quinan led the Shippensburg University men’s cross country team with another outstanding performance to a second-place team finish at the 2024 NCAA Atlantic Region Championships at Lock Haven on Nov. 9. The result booked the men’s ticket to the NCAA DII National Championships in Sacramento, California. The women’s cross country team finished in fifth place, just missing the ticket to the National Championships by two places. 


Volleyball falls 3-0 at Pitt-Johnstown, clinches pair of home wins

 After falling on the road to Pitt-Johnstown on Tuesday, Shippensburg University’s volleyball team rallied at home to defeat Kutztown 4-1 and East Stroudsburg 3-0 in two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division matchups on Friday night and Saturday afternoon. 


Titles defended – Quinan, men´s cross country triumph at PSACs; women celebrate second place

  Garrett Quinan defended his individual title in the 8K and led Shippensburg University’s men’s cross-country team to a title defense at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships on Saturday that were hosted in Kutztown.  The women’s team delivered a strong runner-up finish in the championship, led by freshman Ella Hartel, with a seventh-place finish in the individual 6K.


Josiah Leonard shows you can do it all

Josiah Leonard, the starting running back for Shippensburg University´s football team, balances being a member of the Army ROTC program and the football team. He is one of a few students that attempt to combine both programs for their college experience. By successfully being a part of both programs, Leonard wants to prove to people that it can be done.
