Men’s basketball secures first victory of the season

 Shippensburg University men’s basketball secured its first win of the season at Wilmington last Wednesday after a late second half surge. SU’s overall record moves to 1-2.  

Wrestling finds momentum with trio of road wins

 The Shippensburg University men’s wrestling team traveled to St. Vincent for a dual meet on Tuesday and to Waynesburg for matches against Mount Union, Waynesburg and Lycoming on Sunday. The Raiders season record moved to 3-2. 

Wrestling falls to Elizabethtown 27-17

 Wednesday evening, the Shippensburg University men’s wrestling team faced Elizabethtown for the first dual meet of the year.  

Wrestling opens season at Tonee Ellis Memorial Invitational

  Shippensburg University’s wrestling team traveled to Alvernia College on Saturday to compete in the Tonee Ellis Memorial Invitational.  The Raiders placed sixth as a team, scoring 68.5 points. 

Volleyball shines on the road

  Shippensburg University’s volleyball team picked up three road wins this week against Jefferson, Bloomsburg and Lock Haven.   SU’s overall record moves to 11-9 and their conference record moves to 6-1.

Women’s Soccer falls to Bloomsburg, 3-0

Football falls on the road to West Chester, 28-10

   Shippensburg University’s football team lost at West Chester  Saturday. The team’s season record moves to 1-4. 

Volleyball goes 1-1 for home-opening weekend

 Shippensburg University’s women’s volleyball split its home-opening games 1-1 this past weekend at Heiges Field House.  

State Sen. Rothman visits SU for business Q&A

Pennsylvania state Sen. Greg Rothman visited Shippensburg University on Thursday for a Q&A event about entrepreneurship sponsored by the Commonwealth Foundation and hosted by the Charles H. Diller Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation in Stewart Hall. 

Shippensburg Tennis defeats Clarion on the road despite rain delay

 Shippensburg University Women’s Tennis defeated Clarion for a road win on Wednesday.
